On 27 June 2023, we successfully established an engagement with Ir. Dr. Muhaimin Mahmud, Superintendent Electrical Engineer at the Public Works Department of Malaysia (JKR). The purpose of this engagement was to understand JKR’s off-grid initiatives and promoting the tea-lp activities with JKR. Ir. Dr. Muhaimin was also invited to give a talk to our final year students, on the Carbon Talk Series entitled “JKR’s Renewable Energy Initiatives in Supporting Energy Access and National Climate Pledge” to expose the students on off-grid situations in Malaysia. The session also promoted the tea-lp courses to potential students.
